Today was kind of a free day! The kids all had breakfast, then headed out to pin trade. I'm sure it is safe to say, they are all addicted to pin trading!
They had the creativity festival, that division II team worked at for an hour. Each team will work a certain time period to represent each state, so our division II team worked today and the division I team will work tomorrow, bright and early! This festival is meant to take a break from "working" and coming out to play, each activitie is designed and operated by your friendly neighborhood OotM-ers. Nasa also had a very cool booth with lots of cool things they were giving away. A couple of the other states offered things to give as well, Tenessee was handing out whoopie pies and little debbie, apparently they come from TN, South Carolina was handing out bowls of grits!!! Others were playing games and other creative things!
Division I, in the morning got ready for their spontaneous competition, which took place at 1:15. Division II team will practice in the morning and then their competition is at 10:39 tomorrow! I saw some other teams coming out of their spontaneous crying, so we will see how our kids fare!
The kids all watched some of the other competitions and then took a nap and then headed to the pool for a quick swim! It is hot here in Michigan!!!
It is really an amazing thing to be a part of, all these teams give so much effort and have so much creativity, the atmosphere here, once again, IS ELECTRIFYING!
